Good sushi and hibachi house in Henrietta. Affordable lunch specials and very good service, including hot towels before the meal. Gotta love that.

Absolutely the WORST sushi/tempura restaurant in the area. I ate there 2 years ago, and the food was awful and overpriced. Even the rice was dried-out, ant the miso tasted like it was from a can. You can do better anywhere. Don't even bother with this dump, or the Chinese place next door, either.

Not sure what "Alex" has a bug up his as about, but this place is AMAZING. I've been going here for the super cheap and incredibly delicious (very generous portions too) lunch specials for about 2 years. I've been disappointed only on one or two occasions. Excellent choice for a cheap and very tasty/nutritious lunch.

The only thing I'll agree with Alex on is that the tempura isn't exactly the greatest, but then again if you're going to a Japanese restaurant for tempura you might as well go hit up the mall food court.
Sushi- I'm an avid Sushi eater/critic and I say with absolute honesty that Tokyo has the freshest sushi I've had in Rochester. Their rolls are excellent and will satisfy any sushi eater, but their sashimi is fantastic- absolutely the freshest and highest quality in Rochester. The food is authentic and absolutely superb. I love their fried oysters and soft shell crab as well, and their miso is fantastic. They have 6 hibatchi tables as well, and it's always fun to get a group their for drinks and a show with some excellent chefs who will cook right in front of you!.
Service- No complaints, friendly, attentive, and I think half of the servers and chefs are actually japanese.
Ambiance- This is also a shining point of Tokyo. The interior is BEAUTIFUL. I've come to the sushi bar for business meetings, or to the regular dining room/hibatichi room with my family. They also have a private room in the back with a straw floor that you sit on with pillows, very authentic. It is the most authentic looking restaurant I've seen in Rochester, and the mood is calm and peaceful. They have beautiful traditional japanese art on the walls, and unlike most other asian restaurants in the area, I don't get a "tacky" feeling when I walk in.
I feel bad that alex wrote that review, since I'm a huge food buff and have experience all that Rochester has to offer, because if you miss out on tokyo you are missing out on one of the best, longest lasting, restaurants in Rochester.
