Many thanks to the Vignelli Design Center for hosting this event in their elegantly architected building. It was a great pleasure discussing the Vignelli map with an audience having a keen interest in design. For anyone who missed the event, you can obtain a copy of the book at http://ritpress.rit.edu/publications/books…
If you wanted to learn to dance "West Coast Swing" learn from one of the best teachers in New York State! Steve is a wonderful teacher and person. It's always great fun.
"Steven Ryan is a professional dancer who has been dancing for more than 25 years, and has won numerous dance competitions throughout that time in jazz, theatre arts, hustle &, west coast swing. He also won a full scholarship to the studios of Alvin Ailey in NYC. He is the only advanced male swing dancer in the Central New York. He also danced a feature roll in the Sleeping Beauty Ballet in February 2005. He has choreographed many swing dance routines that were performed by class members at local dances and at the Syracuse Symphony. He’s a firm believer in strong technique. He is also the founder of The Syracuse Swing Dance Society. He has been teaching swing for 17 years and stays current by attending and competing at National Events. Most recently, he won the local edition of Dancing with the Stars in Syracuse in April 2010.
Steve teaches classes in Syracuse, Rochester NY as well as internationally."

Terrific talent, lots of energy, what a great cast, its a fun show. Just the kind of innocent optimism we need. Truly enjoyed the production!!!
Great Idea!
This was a great way to learn about Tug's in Lake Ontario and Genesee River area.
Going to be a great show!
This group, Andy Stobie and the Greater Finger Lakes Jazz Orchestra, was new to the Robach Center dance series in the spring of 2012, and folks raved that they are the finest big band yet to perform there. They have the finest musicians, and two great vocalists in Andy Stobie and Angie Bemus. If you want to hear authentic big band vocals from Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Harry Connick Jr, Natalie Cole, and many others, you have to come and hear this group. Back by popular demand, we have already booked them twice for 2013 as well.

Best Halloween attraction in Rochester. Actors are phenomenal. True horrorshow. If you love horror movies... you HAVE to go see it.
She gets better every time we see her.
Really good music, the band rocks. You won't regret purchasing your tickets for the show.
The Community Darkroom hasn't looked this fresh in a long time. The artist's large color prints are thought provoking scenes that are both personal and universal. The quality of the lighting, composition and printing is so good that it is almost invisible, allowing the viewer to focus on the humorous, sad, serious, trivial stories these images present. Excellent show!
