Finger Lakes Opera is off to a great start. Fantastic performances all around this weekend.
Have seen this band in its many forms and absolutely LOVE the music. John Sacheli is an extremely talented musician, and whether he's playing alone or with a band, his music will never let you down. Plays lots of 'blue-zy' music which I love!! I WILLbe at this CD Release Party at Lovin Cup on Friday, August 1st at 8pm. If you want a seat I would plan on getting there a little bit earlier. Wouldn't miss it for the world!!
Please make sure to RSVP in advance! You can also prepay at www,plymouthspiritualistchurch.com using the "donate" button. In the comments section, just specify that it's for this event.
Our theme for July's Second Saturday on 7/12 is, "How do you do that?" There will be artist demos throughout the building. Bring the family, connect with artists as they work and purchase directly from the makers.

Thank you City for helping support this miraculous cause! Organ and tissue donation should be personal choices. Those who choose yes save countless lives.
It's always great fun and fellowship and you don't have to be a "Christian" to attend everyone is welcome!
Women Build is right here in Rochester! You can join a fundraising team, donate, and receive hands on training in building a home and you will give a positive future for a low income family right here in Rochester. Flower City Habitat for Humanity (FCHH) is a cause that is trying to end the poverty cycle by fundraising to build homes, educating the new home owners, and using the hands up not hand out philosophy. New homeowners have "sweat equity" where they work 250 hours on another new homeowner's property and 200 on their own new home build site. Wonderful cause that educates and empowers women and families alike by learning new skills, creating relationships and results in the families becoming leaders in their new communities. Women Build is a program that is part of FCHH. Rochesterhabitat.org
