Couldn't finish my grinder sandwich flavors did not mix and my husbands jambalaya had overcooked dry chicken in it. We were not offered anything when we complained but the bill. Didn't take any of the leftovers home over 3/4 of meal. All we were offered was excuses. Will never be back!
Take the old Tonic, and blend that with Tilt and that is pretty close to Love. Great music and drinks, but a really mixed light hearted atmosphere. Just plain fun.
The west side deserved a place like Kobe - I'm thrilled they are there and still going strong. The food is by far the best of any of the hibachi joints in town. The sushi is phenomenal, as well. The only downfall for Kobe is its size, but maybe this is what keeps it so fresh and wonderful. Make a reservation and get there about 15 minutes early. We've done this on our last few visits and it has served us well. If it's Friday or Saturday evening and you did not call ahead, it is likely you'll have a long wait in the tiny bar area or you can choose to dine in the lounge area where the sushi chef is (and miss the hibachi show). Plan your visit well and you will be greatly rewarded! Make sure you chant "Sake bomb" to the hibachi chef; you will also be greatly rewarded for this!
I was under the impression SPACE no longer exists at 1199 East Main Street. I don't think they have moved but just closed their doors.
Very poor service.
Ultra-skanky is more like it. Maybe in 2006 this place was the "it" restaurant in town, but no longer. Save your special night out for one of the numerous other amazing places in town. The décor, once innovative, looks tired. The food is seriously lacking for the price. Very disappointing.
Last year I attended a surprise birthday party, that turned into a surprise engagement and Wedding, what and idea, all the guest were blown away and very nervous that the bride may be too shocked to say yes. In the end it was a complete hit and I will never forget that night. Just AMAZING!
I hope you have time to see the spaces Rochester Pillars has to offer and better yet have an event here, you will never Forget.
They say "Be A Part Of Rochester's History". Great Thinking Rochester Pillars.
We went to Love for the first time last week after hearing some good things. The place has a great sound and vibe. We are planning to go back again next week.
Some thing different in Rochester!!!! Great customer service and friendly. Loved the menus I knew what to order instead of asking for something fruity and hating it. Its a great spot for my girls to go out anytime!!!!
This event will take Place at Books Etc. 78 Main Street Macedon NY. Bindings bookstore is Located in Aubion, NY and was the location for a different event. adjust accordingly.
Was Harassed by drunk.
- While watching a football game here with my son we were verbally harassed by a person that was obviously very drunk and did not like our team and seemed to want to fight. I told the owner that he needed to be cut off, but to quell the situation he gave everybody a free drink including the drunk! We only had one beer each and never took the free drink while the drunk downed his right away. We watched as the drunk left the building and my son followed him out to get his plate number and call the authorities. The owner then told us that we could cost him his license and demanded we leave. Wow! Just wanted to enjoy a football game with my son.
Great pizza & boneless wings!!!
How can I RSVP to this event?

My parents moved to the US from Italy when they were in their 30's. Everything that comes from mom's kitchen is made from scratch with fresh veggies grown in my dad's garden. It is really hard to go to an Italian restaurant and have an experience that even comes close. Ristorante Lucano not only comes close, it is right up there with mom. The ingredients are fresh and the sauces are simply delicious. I love that fresh seafood is a big part of the daily specials menu. JoAnn and Chuck make you feel like family when you walk in the door and their top priority is that you have an excellent experience. Every experience I have had at Lucano has been just that, excellent. Definitely check out the specialty shop in the same plaza for some wonderful Italian favorites as well as fresh fish, meat and cured meats and cheese. They will even sell you their home made sauce so you can have the Lucano experience at home.
Had an amazing frappe at 1872! Had to really hold myself back from eating the entire pastry display. Stop in for the coffee, stay for the history! It's a Rochester gem!
The food was the same fare served as take out at the Wegmans locations, at least for the lunch menu. But much more pricey. I guess you are paying for atmosphere and Pittsford locale.
I adore Wegmans, but will save my lunch money next time and dine at their Market Cafe instead.
We've been eating at Fiamma almost weekly since discovering it a year ago. Amazing authentic Neapolitan style thin crust pizza, cooked for 60 seconds in a 1,000 degree wood-fired oven. Both the oven and the chef/owner came from Italy - the chef was originally hired by Mario Batali for one of his NYC restaurants, before moving to Rochester and setting up his own place. A nice place too to stop for a glass of wine or beer and appetizers (no hard liquor, but a good selection of inexpensive Italian wines). The location is way off the beaten track, in a mixed industrial area in Greece (but close to 490, so a short drive from anywhere in the area). A real hidden jewel for Rochester.
This is a beautiful place to practice Yoga and to take dance classes. I love that it is an Art Gallery and it's located smack dab in the NOTA. I stopped in for their First Friday open house and the place was packed!
