I am not sure where this belongs, but I did want to let City Newspaper readers hear about the amazing play we saw/heard read at GEVA Theatre Center last night. Informed Consent by Deborah Zoe Laufer was done as a part of GEVA's Plays in Progress program, where artists have the opportunity to work at GEVA developing their work. This work has been "in progress" for quite some time and that definitely showed in the quality of the work. This play is entertaining and thought provoking at the same time. It deserves a wider audience and I hope that if Geva produces this play that Rochester will come out and sell it out! You will not be disappointed.
Thanks for including Bugzilla in your First Friday coverage!

We just saw this and found it absolutely riveting. Amazing performances - do not miss this!
Rebecca-- Thanks for listing this event. While I get plenty of coverage in other cities, it can be difficult to get press in Rochester-- not sure why. Much appreciated!
Thanks for your post, but according to the Blue Cross Arena website as of now, the game is hosted in Rochester tonight:
The Amerks game is in Buffalo not Rochester tonight
You could try going to church. It's Christ's birthday, not ours.
Okay, just want to say that if you were thinking of going to the 13 Wham Spectacle of Lights in order to see some cool Christmas lights - DON'T. It was all of about 30 seconds of driving and only a few lights. On the other hand, if you had little kids the $5 per car would have been worth it because there were lots of hands-on activities in the cabins. For us, however, it was quite a letdown because we really like Christmas light displays. Oh well, guess we'll have to wait until we have moved to Florida and then we'll get to enjoy Disney's Christmas lights instead.
