After the startling midseason finale reveal that Sophia(Madison Lintz)had been a walker all along, this week’s return to “The Walking Dead” dealt with reactions to the bitter end of a failed search and rescue attempt.

And just when you think a show can’t shock you, “The Walking Dead” returned with some much needed gusto. The two situations from last week that had run dry really pulled through, creating some down right awesome moments for the show.

This weekend the band is opening for The Queers and The Ataris at the Bug Jar, bringing to the stage nearly 10 years of road-tested songs and experience. City recently spoke with Steve Neary, one of the founding members and vocalist for the group. Below is an edited transcript of the interview.
Gypsies, tramps, and Thieves
As the adage goes, it takes a village to raise a child. But for the musical offspring of Fuzz and Carrie Sangiovanni, it took a caravan. It started as a love story. Carrie was living in Burlington, Vermont, and Fuzz just came up and said hello. That one hello must have been enough: five months later the couple was engaged, and the two started making music a month after that.
