I'm City's news editor, which means I oversee all aspects of our news-gathering operation. I also sneak in to an occasional City Council meeting and cover Rochester's intriguing and eclectic neighbors. My family has a long legacy here, and I'm proud to continue to represent.

    Brian, the first one is only two miles. The city says it will do four or five miles this year in coordination with its annual street maintenance program. They don't have a timeline for the whole 53 miles.

    I've not been able to confirm your assertions, Remington. The Board of Elections is adamant that 66 votes separate Clifford and Boose. There are still some outstanding ballots, but not enough to change the outcome of the election.

    The BOE has no knowledge of any alleged voter-suppression tactics by either candidate.
