Not saying that but this is the 3rd, 4th study about this. Was it 1 or 2 "plans" for a Midtown arts center that died. Oh wait, we'll use the abandoned mall, (that worked out so well).
Years of this and I think the vast majority of locals don't care about it. Time for the RBTL to their own money to reno the aud and move on.
If this has ever been a good idea the smart, private money would have made it happen long before now.
More RBTL sob story.
So, "We don't have a grocery store in the city. We are a food dessert. Whaaaaaaa. Oh, wait you want to build one? Not here this is the oasis of the food dessert."
"But Kate McArdle, who is part of a group of town residents organizing against development of the land, says that the courses are essential green spaces in the center of Penfield."
Then the local residents need to purchase the land since they do not like what the legal owners of private land want to do.
It is clearly a campaign ad. The last thing we need is to send her to DC.
Despite the chattering of the RBTL, if the area wanted a new super-duper stage the money would have appeared. Waste of cash for a study that will produce nothing other than a consultant payday.
Perhaps the dome site will be used for this. Imagine the cries of "Winner winner Wegmans dinner!"
