It is so difficult to get broadband Internet access in upstate NY, and it's really sad how many people there are that CAN'T get any at all. I don't know why anyone would take credit for the pitiful state NY's broadband access is in. In my home town alone there are 335 homes within 25 miles that have no access to broadband at all. It's just simply not there. It's pretty much like that everywhere north of Albany. We keep hearing all about the governor's connect NY programs and how he's spent so much of our taxes on the issue, but I haven't met one average citizen it's actually helped/affected.
