I'm really having a hard time seeing how an "operations coordinator for Jaguar Land Rover Rochester" would pass muster in a political party now fixated on the confiscation of wealth (Elizabeth Warren's "wealth tax") and the supposed "settled science" of global warming.
Bryce Miller's party is taking aim at the customers of Land Rovers and Jaguars with a wealth tax and other confiscatory taxation based on a toxic combination of envy and class warfare. Moreover, the carbon footprint of both Jaguar and Land Rover are massive compared to almost any other form of transportation outside of private jets.

If that is the goal, then one must conclude that "ABC's many programs" aren't working. But hey, they're working for the 400 people that work for ABC.

Again, millions spent, zero results. It's time to call a spade a spade here. Rochester is lined wall to wall with non-profits supposedly "fighting poverty" and poverty is getting worse. Maybe the non-profits "fighting poverty" are the problem, not the solution.

This report makes official what many of us have known for a long time: that the RCSD is a rudderless ship, with greedy, incompetent administration and management. The district is basically a jobs and pension-padding program for politically- and otherwise connected individuals that has little or no interest in actual educational activities and outcomes. This sentence says it all: "The [school] Board has exerted pressure on staff hiring, retention, and promotion in areas where decision-making should remain under the purview of District administration."
From the report: "...another business community member said that if the District were a business, it should declare bankruptcy" and "one can only conclude that the District leaves supervision, school direction, and learning to chance."
Taxpayers are funding this district to the tune of nearly $1 billion per year, and this district is absolutely the bottom of the barrel: "RCSD had the lowest combined English language arts (ELA) and mathematics Performance Index in the state at the elementary and middle school levels (grades 3-8) in 2017."
If there is one positive outcome from this report, it is that it shreds the false narrative spread by the D&C and City Newspaper that the failure of the RCSD is the fault of people that do not even live in the district, yet lavishly fund this Democrat-run failure factory via a tax sharing arrangement that is grossly unfair to suburban residents that have no say in its operation.
Sorry, folks. The incompetence of the district is home grown and the district itself and city residents who vote on Board of Education members need to own this failure.

It's not climate change that we really have to worry about. It's the actions that climate change alarmists want to force on the US to make people more poor, less free, all with the odds of making a measurable difference on climate change right around zero.
I can envision a day when these boneheads ban natural gas in a misguided effort to address a trumped up problem and we all freeze to death in the middle of a February cold snap here in Rochester. None of the activists and alarmists pushing these "solutions" have the faintest idea how a power grid works.

Before the Congressional primary, few people had heard of Robin Wilt. But after seeing her stumble her way through two debates, failing to deliver a cogent response to even rudimentary questions, it is clear that she probably is not even qualified to serve on a local town board - much less state or federal office. You wonder if the voters in Brighton have buyer's remorse with her.
One thing about her that is crystal clear is that she must be seen as a victim. This sense of victimization is very much a part of her DNA and she had to spin her withdrawal from the race as victimization. That's all she really has to offer. The sooner she disappears from the local political scene, the better.

Robin Wilt is running for Assembly, a job that puts her in a position to make new laws. It seems disingenuous - to say the least - that her first major move is to violate an existing law on residency in declaring her candidacy to run for a position that she is not eligible to run for. This should automatically rule out her candidacy.
This is really a sad commentary on the state of political candidates today. And after seeing her in two Congressional debates, she may be the worst candidate in recent memory when judged on the ability to respond to a question in a debate setting. The only qualities she seems to have going for her are her gender and ethnicity, and sadly, this is all that matters to a large chunk of the local population. This sort of dynamic is what gave us Judge Leticia Astacio. This is what you get when your standards reach rock bottom.

This is like a primal scream from Rochester's poverty pimp class that desperately wants to maintain its own relevance and future cash flows. It's time to move on from these people. They have had their chance and they have failed miserably. They need to be flushed before any progress can take place.
