There is not one thing in this article about restricting union rights to buy elections. Not only do they contribute cash but they also provide "volunteers", often workers who are being paid by the unions.

Notice that the draft amendment includes a giant loophole for the lamestream media, which contributes billions in services primarily to one party and has been indispensable to Obama.

This highlights just how treacherous the slippery slope is: At a time when technology has knocked down traditional barriers to entry, at the dawn of citizen journalism, now the government is going to have to decree who's a journalist and who's "the press". Thus incumbent politicians and entrenched interests become gatekeepers not only for freedom of speech and assembly, but for press protections as well.

Gutting the First Amendment and giving politicians the power to regulate political speech and assembly is something straight out of the Castro brothers' playbook.

The Supreme Court was absolutely correct to affirm that we don't surrender basic rights when we start a business, join a labor union, or organize a non-profit group.

Agree with Sam Fidele and Dave McLaughlin and the MTA’s strategy to change the US Constitution to defang rampant corporate abuse of power. But I would go further and bring the US voting process and technology into the 21st century.
