This stylish, art-stuffed East End eatery uses organic, fair trade, and locally roasted beans to make its coffee (both Chemex and French press are brewing options) and serves up a Mediterranean-inspired menu of salads, small plates, and skewered proteins. Acanthus offers a good selection of beer as well as wines by both the glass and the bottle, which pair nicely with the occasional live music.
