It may take a strong stomach to dare to eat haggis, but Toronto's world/Celtic rock band Enter the Haggis will go down much easier than the Scottish specialty. Its last album, "White Lake," saw the group branching out and toning it down, with jazz-like and mellower offerings to complement its already strong back catalogue. Its upcoming Kickstater-funded album, "The Modest Revolution," hits March 30, with songs based around a single news day's headlines and stories. Fans of fiddles, world music, and Celtic rock will drink it up. Locals Sisters of Murphy opens up.
Enter the Haggis performs Thursday, March 28, 8 p.m. at Water Street Music Hall, 204 N. Water St. $10-$12. waterstreetmusic.com, 325-5600.
