THEATER: The popular women-centric production, "Love, Loss, and What I Wore," penned by the late Nora Ephron and her sister, Delia, has come back to Blackfriars Theatre (795 E. MUSIC: What are the important things to know about Metric? The group formed in Toronto, had its fifth album release this summer, has collaborated with Howard Shore (he composed music for "The Lord of the Rings"), and had its music featured all over, including in a certain super-awesome film called "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World." If that isn't enough to get you down to Water Street Music Hall ( 204 N. Water St.) tonight at 8 p.m. (tickets $28-$30, download of new album included) then nothing probably will.
