by Willie Clark @_WillieClark and Lillian DickersonMUSIC: Since its inception in 2003, Hit the Lights has assembled a solid fan base all over the world on the back an incessant touring schedule, sharing stages with such internationally acclaimed acts as New Found Glory and Paramore. Overall, the outfit’s infectious brand of pop-and-punk-infused indie rock has led to the release of four EPs, one split album, and three full-length studio LPs. Their most recent collection, 2012’s “Invicta,” has been met with positive critical reviews and debuted in the Billboard Top 200 upon its January release. MUSIC: Rochesterian Adam Clark will be tearing it up tonight at the Bug Jar (219 Monroe Ave., bugjar.com), so come out and support a local singer/songwriter. Fellow Rochester acts Colossus and Violet Honey open up the night, so give them all the homecoming they deserve. Music starts at 9 p.m., tickets run $5-$7.
EXHIBIT: Glean some warmth from The Rochester Historical Society’s “Baby It’s Cold Outside!” exhibit. Coats, muffs, and hats, oh my! An exhibit of historical winter clothing. $3-$5. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Rundel Memorial Building, 115 South Ave. 428-8470. rochesterhistory.org.
MUSIC: Just because it’s getting cold outside doesn’t mean you have to cover up, and tonight Nathaniel’s Pub (251 Exchange Boulevard, 232-8470) is giving ladies the opportunity to do the opposite with a Ladies Tuesday Night Out Lingerie Party. DJ Zio will be spinning, free cover for 21+, and contests (with prize money) for those that comes best (or less?) dressed.
KIDS: Make your own holiday wreath this year at “Trim a Tree for Wildlife” at the Helmer Nature Center (154 Pinegrove Ave).
