Music: Get ready to swing your hips, and apparently, your gates, too. Special event: Sick of settling for whatever brews you can pick up at the nearest convenience store? Then seize the chance to sample and learn about beers from all around the world at a beer tasting seminar hosted by Fausto Angotti of Canandaigua's The Bruhaus. The seminar, which will feature six international beers and costs $25 per person, starts at 7 p.m. in The Rabbit Room (61 N. Main St., Honeoye Falls). Go to thelowermill.com/rabbit-room for more info and events.

Theater: Here's one play that certainly sounds like it wouldn't work as children's theater: "No Child," a comedy with Reenah L. Golden playing the administrators, teachers, janitors, students, and parents at a high school, continues at the Geva Theatre Center (75 Woodbury Blvd.) through Sunday, April 21. "No Child" plays at the Geva tonight at 7 p.m. Tickets are $27-$29. For tickets and the full schedule of performances, go to gevatheatre.org.

Music: Violinist Nurit Pacht, cellist Caroline Stinson, and pianist Priya Mayadas – otherwise known as the Chroma Piano Trio – will perform at 12:10 p.m. in Hochstein Performance Hall (50 N. Plymouth Ave.) as part of the Live from Hochstein series. The 40-minute concert is free and open to the public. See other special events from the Hochstein School of Music & Dance at hochstein.org. If you can't make the show, it will also be broadcast live on WXXI Classical 91.5FM
