Daily Choices: What to do on Wednesday, September 5

ART EXHIBIT: Link Gallery at City Hall (30 Church St.) is hosting "Jazz: The Spirit of the Moment: Photographs by Jim Allen," which depicts decades of jazz greats. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and the show continues through September 10. For more info, call 271-5920.

MUSIC: Time to bring the thunder! After yesterday's day of rain, celebrate the end of summer with some reggae jams courtesy of Thunder Body. MUSIC: If you'd rather be awash in the blues then wash them away, the Buford Duo will be playing its mix of blues and rock at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que (99 Court St.) tonight for a free show. Grab some ribs, pull up a seat, and enjoy some tasty musical stylings. Tunes start at 9 p.m., and dinosaurbarbque.com has all the details.

MUSIC: Coming to the ROC live from the Big Apple, Here for Now will be playing the Bug Jar (219 Monroe Ave.) tonight. Local bands Autoverse and Mammal is a Mountain open up the night, tunes start at 9 p.m. and tickets will run $6-$8. Check bugjar.com for all the information.
