One of the more intriguing premieres being shown is “To be young, gifted… and BLACK,” choreographed by Will Dillard-Jackson and Brittany Lane, set to an award-winning poem, “Black Privilege,” by Crystal Valentine. Also utilizing an unusual soundscape is Lexi Hills who set her “550 for the Black One” against the rhythmic bellows of a cattle auction.
