A brief 45 th anniversary commemorative ceremony marking the death of Elliot Barkley, a prisoner at Attica Prison during the 1971 riots, will take place at the young man’s Mt. Hope Cemetery gravesite at noon on Tuesday Sept. 13, 2016. His sister, Tracee Barkley, will be present.
