Fairport children's librarian Robin Benoit will engage all with her creative storytelling and playful ways of encouraging children to read. Principal Richard Greene will be Master of Ceremonies. Additional activities are puppet making, raffles, dessert table and bake sale with goodies appealing to both children and more sophisticated palates. Generation Two(G2) is celebrating its 10th year of creating vibrant intergenerational friendships between young children and senior citizens to promote the positive attitudes and wellness necessary to learn. G2 pairs adults and first graders for weekly 1:1 child-centered time together during the school day.
