The M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence invites the Rochester community to experience the film Girl Rising. This film engages the audience by "using the power of storytelling to share the simple truth that educating girls can transform societies". Janine Burge, an RIT student, will host this event followed by a community Speak Up, Paper Chain Project, and Bicycle raffle from R Community Bikes Inc.
