Food at Fishers Station

This little family-run diner in a nondescript house about a mile away from Eastview Mall has limited hours and only accepts cash, but its rabid following has made it a destination for area gastronauts. Breakfast brings out such favorites as homemade jams, freshly baked breads, and meltaway pancakes at least partially responsible for that line out the door. Lunch is comfort food; think hot turkey sandwiches, hamburgers, Yankee pot roast, and bread pudding. But the menu changes; call ahead if you’re hoping for something specific.
