Congresswoman Louise Slaughter will give the fourth presentation in The Harley School’s speaker series ‘The Commons.’ Slaughter’s keynote will address the question of “What can one person do?” She will discuss the importance of civic engagement and will highlight her 14-year effort to pass the Genetic Information Non-Discrimination Act and current efforts in Congress.
