Bring a brown bag lunch and join us at High Falls for free monthly talks on local history topics. The inaugural lecture will trace the history of Brown's Race from its 18th-century origins through the "boomtown era" of the 1830s and 1840s. Learn about the pioneers of industry who transformed High Falls from a patch of wilderness on the edge of American empire to one of the most bustling manufacturing centers in the young republican nation. The lecture will run from 12:10 to 12:50 and will be followed by a brief Question and Answer session.
