Musicians in Hochstein’s Sinfonia (grades 4-9) and Concertino Strings (grades 1-5) orchestral ensembles give a free joint afternoon concert. In the first half, Concertino Strings performs Jorge Andrés Arbeláez’s Marcha con Variaciones, Edmund Siennicki’s Scherzo for String Orchestra, and Stick Horse Parade by Walter J. Halen. Then the Sinfonia takes the stage for Mendelssohn’s Sinfonia No. 3 in E Minor, Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings, and Skylife by Balakrishnan.
