Visitors are invited to join in the hop harvest and celebration, as well as see how the hops contributed to the beer-making process. Featured activities include hands-on hop-picking, beer tasting at the brewery, demonstration of baking beer bread and tastings of sauerkraut and ale-cooked sausage in the village kitchens, a craft beer and chocolate pairing, barrel rolling and sack races, a hops party dance, American Heritage chocolate-making demonstration and a beer-centric menu that includes sausages in ale sauce available at the museum’s historic Hosmer’s Inn.
