Broadsides have an important place in the history of printing. Originally used as a medium for advertising events, they have eventually become a platform for poetic expression. In both cases, however, they combine images and text in an informative, playful, and even provocative manner. The Department of Rare Books, Special Collections, and Preservation invites you to enjoy selected items from its poetry broadside collection that includes over 1,400 sheets produced between the late 1960s and 1990s.
