The forests at the Beaver Meadow Audubon Center will come alive this Halloween season with "The Enchanted Forest," where families can walk through the woodlands and meet nocturnal animals, portrayed by costumed interpreters. In its 21st year, "The Enchanted Forest" will also include a raffle, crafts, games, live animals, donuts, and cider. The Beaver Meadow Audubon Center is part of the Buffalo Audubon Society, a not-for-profit organization that works to promote the education and preservation of the natural world.
"The Enchanted Forest opens Friday, October 9, and continues through Sunday, October 11, each day from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. The center is located at 1610 Welch Road in North Java. Tickets are $8 a person; $7 for Buffalo Audubon Members; and children 3 and under are free. Reservations are required.
