Lulu Westbrooks was one of 32 Americus, GA girls imprisoned in a old Civil War Bunker in Leesburg, GA following their arrest at a civil rights protest. These girls ranged in age from 10 to 16 and were imprisoned for 42 days without their families knowing where they were located or even if they were alive. Ms. Westbrook will talk about her experiences following the film screening. Ms. Westbrooks-Griffin will be joined by filmmaker Travis Lewis.
