UCGR will host a unique concert event: Music of the Soul, The Amrita Ensemble with Sonam Targee, Bruce McClellan, Alan Simon. Sing, dance, clap for joy at a traditional Kirtan. Kirtan means praising, as in praising the many names of God. In a traditional Kirtan the audience can sing along and no memorization is required. It’s all done in a call-and-response style. Kirtan is profound and fun all at the same time.
