Mitizie Collins, hammered dulcimer recording artist and folk music and music history educator, will be honored as the Musician of the Year by Mu Phi Epsilon, an international, professional music fraternity. Ms. Collins will receive the award during a concert on Sunday, March 16th. Colleagues, friends, family, students, and Ms. Collins herself will be performing on the concert. A reception following the concert is free and open to the public.
