This Wegmans-owned venture blends casual with upscale in an eclectically decorated space. The cuisine is described as New American, an adjective that encompasses Next Door’s heavy Japanese influence, as evidenced by the sushi bar as well as the two robata grills in the gleaming open kitchen. The rest of the menu is diverse and includes tapas, thin-crust pizzas, burgers, salads, and entrées that all reflect seasonal abundance. Next Door offers a couple options for private parties, such as the test kitchen, where guests can participate in cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, and more.
