Nintendo has released a 23-title strong day one launch line up for the Nintendo Wii U, as well as 29 additional titles that will be released during the console’s launch window, which lasts until March 31, looking to avoid the software drought that plagued the Nintendo 3DS when it launched.
From the Big N itself comes “New Super Mario Bros. U,” Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge,” “Nintendo Land,” and “SiNG Party. ” “Pikmin 3” has been noted as a launch window title, as has “Game & Wario,” “LEGO City: Undercover,” “Wii Fit U,” and "The Wonderful 101.”
From third parties, launch day titles include “Call of Duty: Black Ops II,” “Skylanders Giants,” “Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two,” “TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT™ 2 Wii U Edition,” “Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed,” “Assassin’s Creed III, ” “ZombiU,””Scribblenauts Unlimited,” and “Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition.”
The complete launch window and launch day list is below:
What do you think? It’s a pretty solid list, but will it make you jump on the Wii U day one? Which titles are you most excited for?
Willie is just sad that Pikmin 3 isn’t a day one title. He isn’t very patient about getting to take control over the little flower children. If you want to be one of the millions in his Pikmin army, be sure to pledge alliance on Twitter or Facebook.
