Pop/Rock | "Once Upon a Dream" starring The Rascals

It was actually during Steven Van Zandt's speech inducting The Rascals into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that the folks behind the HBO hit "The Sopranos" first got a taste of him, and Silvio Dante was born. Well Van Zandt is at it again with The Rascals in producing and presenting "Once Upon a Dream Starring The Rascals." The show was a sell-out hit in New York and is now crisscrossing the country. Part multimedia event, part concert, "Once Upon a Dream" stars all the original members of this legendary rock group (including Rochester native Gene Cornish) on stage for the first time together since 1970. Come and dig the hits —"Good Lovin," "Groovin'," "It's a Beautiful Morning," "I've Been Lonely Too Long" — and others from one of the key originators of blue-eyed soul.

"Once Upon a Dream Starring The Rascals" takes place Wednesday, November 20, 7:30 p.m., at the Rochester Auditorium Theatre, 885 E. Main St. $42.50-$78. rbtl.org.
