The Pythodd Room was a swinging jazz club in Rochester's 3rd Ward neighborhood (Cornhill) from the 1950's-1970's. Patrons described it as a once in a lifetime club; but what made it so special and why did it close? This short documentary will introduce you to Gloria and Diane as they share their memories of the Pythodd Room from under age attempts at sneaking into the club, the musicians, and what ultimately caused the Pythodd to close.
