Tonight’s program offers three different ways to sing your heart out: Fauré’s achingly lyrical cycle of love songs,La bonne chanson (The Good Song),in a setting for string quartet, piano, and the “commanding” Met Opera baritone John Moore (New York Times); the raucous folk songs of Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian’s Trio for violin, clarinet, and piano; and opera great Richard Strauss’s ardent and fiery Piano Quartet in C Minor.
