his elegant wine and food pairing event showcases over thirty wineries and restaurants of the Finger Lakes Region in celebration of Rose Week at Sonnenberg (June 8-14). Guests are invited to stroll through the historic Mansion, Belvedere, and Rose Garden where many of the garden’s roses are in bloom. There will also be live music by Randy Z. and a silent auction held in the Mansion. Sonnenberg’s Rose Garden was originally created more than a century ago to feature over 2,500 pink, red, and white rose bushes. While Sonnenberg does have roses blooming all season long, Rose Week marks the peak bloom period of the Rose Garden. This is when the greatest profusion of blooms are open and providing an amazing sensory treat for both the eyes and nose.
