Don Hall, former director of the Strasenburgh Planetarium and a prominent speaker on a variety of topics, discusses Rochester’s East Avenue between Alexander and Colby Streets which remains one of the best preserved gateway streets entering any city in the United States. Through the use of historic and contemporary photos, this talk contrasts vanished East Avenue with the present, including showing adaptive re-use of many fine homes and information on several of the local architects who designed these fabulous homes. REGISTRATION begins on Friday, May 20 for either or both programs.
