The Prospect for Life in the Solar System: Searching for Wet Planets
Tue., Sept. 24, 7 p.m. 2013
Several moons in our solar system show strong indications that liquid water exists below the surface. In addition, over the last several years a strong consensus has formed that at one point, liquid water was flowing on the surface of mars. Biological studies today indicate that all life at some point during its evolution required water. This raises the very interesting question about the prospect and implications of life in the Universe. Join us as we will discuss the requirements for life on Earth, water on Mars, Europa and Enceledus and more!
