English professor Stephanie Li and political science professor Valeria Sinclair-Chapman will lead a discussion on the role of race in American politics, focusing in particular on issues related to the 2012 presidential election. Professor Li and Professor Sinclair-Chapman will explore with the audience how race has been presented by the media and the ways in which this important part of our national identity impacts electoral politics.
