Young Black Males, directed by Shabaka Mu Ausar, weaves together the issues facing Rochester’s young black men and the ways the community can support these young men in realizing their potential. Through deeply personal stories told by the young men, community leaders and clergy, the documentary explores the complexities young black males face in the inner city where obstacles to success seem to outweigh the opportunities.
