The Forum’s guest speaker, Kareem Weaver is co-leader of Full and Complete Reading, a Universal Mandate (FULCRUM) which partners to improve reading results for students. He is an award-winning teacher and administrator in Oakland, CA and will be presenting on the importance of ensuring that every child is provided with full literacy, which he represents as a fundamental civil right, a powerful protection from the school-to-prison pipeline and the cornerstone for a life of choice and fulfillment. The forum will be followed by a Q & A panel with Mr. Weaver 9am.
