Why were the older comments regarding the criminal conviction of the owner of RG brewery for the rape of a sixteen year old girl all deleted? Is it against policy to remove stories but not to remove comments when they accuse you of lax or inappropriate reporting practices? Surely the public has the right to know who they are buying from. Even if you refuse to remove them from the story, there is nothing to stop you from adding a few lines at the end acknowledging your error. Major news outlets do it all the time.
