The day begins at 10 a.m. at the Liberty Pole, 230 E. Main St., with a Take Back our Youth and our Streets anti-violence march and back-to-school rally. At noon, the Genesee Valley Park Sports Complex, 131 Elmwood Ave., will host a free Unity Picnic with Mayor Warren, and a softball game featuring City employees versus WDKX. The admission fee for the Genesee Valley Park outdoor pool will be waived in lieu of donations to the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester.
