The film is based on the late renowned Israeli author Amoz Oz's memoir. Oz last extended stay abroad was here in Rochester one year ago, during which he gave a lecture dedicated to this memoir. The film was directed by Natalie Portman who also plays the role of young Amos's mother. A free conversation will be held at the end of the screening.
