ACOUSTIC POP | Chris Trapper

Former frontman of 90's alt-rock band The Push Stars, Chris Trapper has made a name for himself, touring North America and the United Kingdom since 2002. Originally from Buffalo, NY, he performs infectious soft rock melodies, telling relatable stories with an affable presence. Singing bittersweet pop ballads with sincerity and yearning, he has a familiar, whispery tenor voice. Trapper's music is a gentle relief to the ears and the soul.

Chris Trapper will perform with special guest Lindsay Dodd as part of the "Abilene on the Road" series on Saturday, May 11, 8 p.m. at Record Archive Backroom Lounge, 33 1/3 Rockwood Street. $22-$25. 232-3230.;
