The Town of Irondequoit has missed the boat on taking control of the mall. The Irondequoit Town Hall, the library, a Senior Center, a Community Center, the Police Department all should be located at the prime centralized mall location. There are also other thriving entities in the area such as Rochester General Hospital that the town could have partnered with to utilize the area for a satellite location. Too bad previous town leaders did not have the vision to grow into this space.
