This yearly event—our 40th year—is a very powerful, moving public statement of our dedication to peace and nuclear disarmament. This year marks the 69th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It’s a highly dramatic, visual event. Note This location, at the Avon traffic circle, is easy to reach from Rochester. Take I-390 south to the Avon exit—Exit 10—and turn right (west) towards Avon. The traffic circle is only about 10 minutes away from the 390 exit.
