Local beekeeper, Amy Gravitz, will spend the afternoon and early evening sharing her knowledge of bees. She will demonstrate making a hive box, as well as bring a beekeeper's suit to try on. A potluck dinner will begin at 5:30 pm. Bring a dish to share (using local ingredients, if possible), and table settings for each member of your group. Folding tables and chairs would be appreciated. Following dinner, Amy will share some of her experiences and give tips for future beekeepers.
