ART | ‘Apocalypse Me’

Current Visual Studies Workshop artists in residence Andrea Průchová and Tomáš Hrůza will culminate their residency this week with an artist talk titled “Apocalypse Me: Ways of Envisioning the Final End.” Průchová and Hrůza have collaborated in creating work that considers the concept of Apocalypse as both cultural and visual phenomena. Their work engages with the topic on ecological, mythological, digital, and individual terms. The actual residency ends December 1, and the duo plan to incorporate their work into a book.

“Apocalypse Me: Ways of Envisioning the Final End” takes place on Thursday, November 29, at 6 p.m. in VSW’s Project Space 2, 31 Prince Street. Free and open to the public.
